Rose Bay, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs is the home to this garden. This amazing 1950 house was in desperate need of some tender loving care. We were approached by the clients to turn this backyard into a useful area.
With their two children being teenagers, they wanted to construct a pool house in the backyard for them and their friends to hang out in, a seperate space away from the house.
A fibreglass pool was already existing on the property and was restored to new. New tiles were used around the pool and along the water line, along with a fresh coat of paint for the interior.
An entertaining area with a retractable roof was constructed along with a sunken reading area to fufil the love of reading that the owners had - the perfect spot to sit with a good book. The mixture of spotted gum decking and tiles tied together the three exterior areas.
